I haven't updated in quite some time, so here's what's going on....
1. I'm currently doing a residency program at the eco art center, Sachaqa Centro De Arte, in the village of San Roque de Cumbaza on the edge of the Northern Highland Amazon Jungle, Peru. The studio that I work in (which also the oldest building in the village) is located in the heart of San Roque overlooking a beautiful jungle landscape. I spend my days painting, reading and avidly trying to learn Spanish.
Beginning on October 6th, I will be showing a few paintings in an exhibition held at the Castillo de Lamas (Yay, a castle!) in Lamas with other university students from Lima.
I don't have much access to the internet, so I apologize for the lack of updates and photos. I will post photos of my experiences and new work when I can.
2. I have new work in the second annual Emerging Artist Invitational, New Biology 2, at Moore Gallery, located at 80 Spadina Street in Toronto. There are only three more days left to view the show, so go check it out if you can! The show is on until September 29th.
The Facebook event is here:

3. Keita Morimoto and I will be the emerging artists exhibiting with Area Gallery at the Toronto International Art Fair from October 26th-29th at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. So if you're attending, try to check out our booth. Unfortunately, I will still be in Peru for the show.
